I was up at six this morning to watch the most exciting cricket match I've seen in a long time. When I began breakfast, India needed 105 to win, 6 wickets in hand, with the great Sachin Tendulkar still at the crease and a session to go. In theory, India should win, in practice, all three results are still possible, and were England to get a couple of quick wickets, they're still in with a chance. By the time you read this, the result will be known. Whoever wins, it's been a fantastic match, in which Strauss scoring a century in both innings gave England a chance, and Sehwag's amazing 82 yesterday evening set up the opportunity for a thrilling climax. Whatever your prejudices, hopes or loves, cricket is the winner.

An amazing cricket match indeed sir ... A game in which neither of the two teams were defeated. Though India won the game, in real terms it was Cricket which won ..especially test cricket. An amazing display of individual batting batting and bowling performances. Though England lost the match, but in no terms were they down and out. A match which continues till the final session of Day 5 .. Wow ..thats what test cricket is all about. I would like to thank the English team who showed the true British spirit and came back to India after the terror attacks. Thanks to KP and his men. Thanks to the 30,000 spectators who came down to the stadium to watch the match, despite the fear in their mind. Thanks people for showing India still moves on and no one can stop us from leading our life normaly.

yes sir...cricket is the winner...somepeople might say that the English team toured because of money but sir on the personal front i feel what they have done is really commendable...i don't know what will be the outcome of the series...but i do know one thing...my respect for the English cricket team has increased many many folds.....it is nothing but bravery that they have risked to be here....and in many sense they are the true winners...
