Another winning performance

Last night I went to see Strindberg's Creditors at the Donmar Warehouse. The Donmar produce winner after winner, and the characters in this rather morbid, black comedy are beautifully portrayed by Tom Burke, Owen Teale and a superlative performance once again by Anna Chancellor. The story is of a divorced man who goes to a hospital where he knows his ex-wife's new husband is a patient. He then tries desperately to convince the new husband that he should leave his wife. It's very black, and very grim in places, but so well written that one is gripped from beginning to end. But don't go thinking it's going to be a bundle of laughs, because it ain't. But it is wonderful theatre.

Dear Lord Archer,
I just wanted to ask a question, regarding your book, "A cat of nine tales", In this you mention a story of a restaraunt owner, who was swindling the tax authorites, and after getting caught the first time, he found a new way of doing that. If that story is true, cant the tax inspectors also read your book, find out which Italian restaraunt owner was in Belmarsh at the same time as yourself, and catch him again. Assuming you have changed his name, even then it wont be that difficult for the authorities to catch him. Just a thought that came to my mind . Cheers....Sachal Lakhwani (Pakistan)
