A wonderful day's cricket at Lord's on Saturday, when England routed the South Africans for just over 200. A happy day spent with everyone from Sunil Gavaskar to Michael Parkinson, with odd interruptions from Stephen Fry. All praise to Ashwell Prince for his magnificent century. We'll soon find out if a couple of days is enough to get them all out again, but as Fry kept reminding us, you don't win Tests unless you take 20 wickets. Ian Botham popped in for tea, and told us that he thought Flintoff would be back in the team for the Second Test, and although there was considerable discussion as to whether Ryan Sidebottom would be fit enough, or Paul Collingwood would be dropped, he was still uneasy about the wicket keeping position. Sir Ian also added that both Jones and Harmison were looking lethal at the moment, and when it came to the Australians visiting us, there could be as many as six fast bowlers fighting for three places.
