Attended Josh Lewsey's charity function at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on Friday night. A fascinating group of celebrities turned out for this boxing event, including Will Carling, James Cracknell, Danny Cipriani, and Lawrence Dallaglio. The evening was the last of Josh's Testimonial dinners, and he told me his final ambition was to get back in the England squad and more important end his career next year playing for the British Lions against South Africa, which would be a magnificent way to bow out. The auction raised £37,000, every penny of which Josh has donated to the charities he supports: The Army Benevolent Fund, the Prince's Trust and The Professional Rugby Players' Association Benevolent Fund.
