Festival weekend

Tomorrow I'm off to Stratford-upon-Avon for their inaugural Literary Festival. I'm speaking in the festival marquee at 6.00pm, and will be signing some books afterwards. If you've got nothing better to do, I look forward to seeing you.

I agree that A Prisoner of Birth is your best since Kane and Abel. I wanted to share with you that my Mom picked up A Prisoner of Birth the day I got it from the library--not usually her kind of book, but she read a few pages and was intrigued. She was on the last few pages two weeks ago and mentioned to my Dad that she was looking forward to finishing it the next day. Unfortunately, she passed away during the night suddenly. She was 81 and lived a blessed life, but my family misses her a great deal. I just finished the book myself last night, very emotional because I felt so connected with her at that moment, wishing she could have finished it as well and wondering if she now knows how it ended.

Anyway, you have been one of my favorite authors since Kane and Abel and I wanted you to know you picked up a new fan in my mother, even if short-lived.

Best of luck to you as you continue your life's journey.

Really enjoyed the hour with you. Bought the new book which you kindly signed for daughter, and am nearly halfway through but had to stop and get on with life! Just been browsing your web page and interesting art collection. Love your books. Have fun in India. Anthea Dodsworth

Hi,
Read all your blogs. Interesting. In fact I have grown up reading all your books... they were a diet to my "young day" soul.
How could we do an interview with you? I work with Metro Now newspaper in New Delhi???
Kindly let me know.
Warmly
Rashmi Kumar
