To this day, JA tales always keep the reader on their toes, and in this seen-it-all irony-rich modern age, that ain't easy.
If it's ok, it might be worth unpacking a (mostly) relevant story in that vein....
Years ago, the brilliant film director David Lean worked for near-nothing to help another genius, George Stevens, to finish his dull-but-worthy Biblical epic 'The Greatest Story Even Told'.
According to the film legend, Lean visted his ailing pal's house, stood at the front window with his back to George Stevens and simply said;
"QUICK.....AREN'T THEY GEORGE?"
Stevens replied, (knowing right-away that Lean meant 'The Audience') "VERY".
I'm sorry if the punchline to this anecdote is perceived as weak, but, there's a surely a simple beauty to it...........
